Our community research team will be  attending this free event for families organised by the team behind Rochdale Feel Good Festival. They will be explaining how research is an everyday part of the NHS that improves patient care and treatment.

There will also be opportunities to so find out about studies that might be relevant for you, such as the Genes and Health Study for people of Bangladeshi and Pakistani heritage.

Other Family Picnic fun activities will include performances, music, sports and shows for children of all ages, all on the theme of The Olympic Values: Excellence, Respect and Friendship.

The Feel Good Family Picnic is staged by Rochdale Council  and has received funding from UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund and Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
