Grand round: Managing refractory shock in critical care – new use for old drugs?

Dr Andrew Claxton will lead this session looking at a case series of patients managed on ICU with profound shock, that was refractory to standard ICU treatment. He will discuss the indications and evidence of novel and off-licence use of treatments such as high dose euglycaemic insulin therapy, methylene blue, and Vitamin B12.
