Dr Hassan Rehman’s presentation will discuss findings from a re-audit of CTPA use in suspected pulmonary embolism, focusing on the application of age-adjusted D-dimer, use of pre-test probability tools, and factors contributing to potentially unnecessary imaging. He will also be presenting the latest pulmonary embolism guideline recommendations, with particular emphasis on structured risk stratification, selective use of D-dimer, and appropriate CTPA decision-making in acute care practice.
