Sunday 23 June, 11am-8pm
Alexandra Park, Kings Road, Oldham, OL8 2BN
Our community research team will be at this fun family festival at Alexandra Park, Oldham on 23 June. They will be there to explain how research improves diagnosis, treatment and care in the NHS and offering the opportunity to take part in the Genes & Health study.
This is one of the world’s largest community-based genetics studies, aiming to improve health among people of Pakistani and Bangladeshi heritage by analysing the genes and health of 100,000 people. Taking part involves giving a sample of saliva (spit) and filling in a one-page health questionnaire.
