Stakeholders to discuss health inequalities

8 April, 1-4pm

Our ambition is to create a research environment which could lead to a reduction in health inequalities for the population served by NCA.

As part of this work, we are bringing together experts and stakeholders from both NCA and partner organisations across the region to discuss our themes of partnership, inclusive research and workforce. They will scope and shape our 2024/25 R&I health inequalities research plan, helping us to develop new collaborations and identify key areas for development.

The stakeholder event on 8 April will include representatives from charity and voluntary sector organisations as well as academic partners, public health and other NHS organisations.

You can read more about the development and implementation of our health inequalities and research work on our website. It is led by Prof Smeeta Sinha – Clinical Lead and Deputy Director of R&I and Jess Zadik – Operational Lead – Health Inequalities Research Lead.
