Acute Research Delivery Team Lead Louise Harrison has been chosen for a prestigious national leadership course.
Louise is part of the first cohort of the National Institute for Health Research’s Advanced Leadership Programme, which aims to improve the quality of leadership in health research. She was nominated by the NIHR Clinical Research Network Greater Manchester and began the six-month high-level course in September.
As part of the programme, she will be carrying out a project to improve the way we work across boundaries and organisation.
Louise has worked in nursing since leaving school and has been at Salford Royal for five years where she is now the team lead for acute research, including stroke, critical care, accident and emergency, neurosurgery and trauma.
